Well, After waiting over a week to receive support on a ticket that was ‘urgent’ I am quite fed up. Earlier today I received the following email,

Due to a recent technical issue, we no longer have the date that your enquiry was sent to us. We are currently investigating how this issue occurred and would like to reassure you that this does not represent the level of Customer Care normally offered by Namesco.

In the interests of fairness to all customers, we would like to ask that you re-send your enquiry if you still require assistance. Please detail the date of your original enquiry.

We are working hard to improve the Customer Experience for Register365 customers and have taken temporary measures to ensure we handle each enquiry effectively. Our telephone support hours are currently Mon-Fri 9-6pm (GMT+1). These are reduced hours whilst we are in a period of transition and will be extended to 8-8pm Mon-Fri and 10-6pm Sat & Sun (GMT+1) in the near future.

Until we advise you that we have extended our support hours, we would ask that you avoid contacting us via telephone unless your enquiry is urgent.

So basically, after waiting a week, being told that my support ticket was lost and that i should re-send the thing, they are telling me that I should avoid calling them? Well I’ve had it.

I will be moving my domain away from Register365 and their pathetic service.

The past weeks have been crazy. So much going on in so little time. Between parties, socialising, random road trip and now exams.

So far I have completed Maths, English, Irish and Business. I now have two days before my German exam so its time for a lot of sleep and more learning. Along with all of this stress, I’ve been logging like crazy over at leaving-cert.net and had some pieces published in the Irish Times. Its an interesting scene. Boards.ie have been buzzing with students and our website has seen a huge increase in traffic and turned out to be quite the success that we’d hope it would be.

This of course means that we have a lot planned for the website and the future of leaving-cert.net. Currently I am trying to find some bit of work in July to get my mind off of things here in Ireland. I have a lot of trips planned and a lot to do in such little time.

So down with the exam stress and on with the summer stress!

So we got a group of us together yesterday and set off to go to the Clare glens.

Trickle of water

Into the Wild

A while back I done a little report on the experience I had with the company register365. And unfortunatly, It’s not over. After recieving an email today from IEDR, I am being told that my domain needs to be renewed or else it will be suspended within 14 days. Now it took the team over at register365 2 solid months until my domain was actually functioning, which was unacceptable to begin with.

However, now I am being told that Register365 never completed the registration of my domain to begin with. And this is primarly the reason why IEDR are notifying me of domain renewal.

If things don’t improve with Register365 and their new owners, then I will be looking for a new registration company.

So there’s been a little bit of discussion going on in the recent days, and today especially about leaked examination papers. If you ask me, I think its a load of crap, but possible. Everything is possible.

Although the exam papers are being held in garda stations across the country, they get out early sometimes. There is discussion going on about leaked papers over at boards.ie but i have a feeling they will put that to a halt very soon.

So I started my exams this morning. Everything is on hold for now apart from the documentation of the exams over at leaving-cert.net. I have done little or no study for any of the exams, so lets see how it goes! I’ll be finished on the 19th and leaving for germany on the 20th.

Projects back on full as of July 1st! Bring on the summer =]
