Yes, I am now bored of youtube. And have deleted my videos & account. It wasn’t all because of boredom tho. I have a lot going on right now and haven’t got the time to be making videos But have no fear, its not the last you’ll see of me making videos. A few more ideas lay ahead! A creative mix which hopefully will work out will. But that will be kept hush hush until this summer.
This post is mainly for those who found my site through youtube. However, thanks to all my youtube fans for all your comments and ratings!
See you all soon ![]()

So we’ve switched Host. Well, not completely. But the new hosting plan has been purchased and with that comes some new changes. So I’m taking this opportunity to do some spring cleaning (as seen in the picture to the right). I tried to find the most sexist picture i could find, don’t hate me.
So we’re now with MintHost and so far i have to say i am really impressed. The speed is much faster in comparison to any US based host we’ve been with. The latest cpanel is also very nice i have to say. It is also my first time using WHM, and i have to say setting up the reseller packages has been hassle free.
I will be leaving a lot of old domains behind, and cleaning out old folders and sub-domains. So lets see how things go..
Update: Things went a lot easier than i expected. kevinholler.eu is now rerouting to kevinholler.com to avoid duplicate content. And this site is now over on the new server, woohay!.

The Easter holidays have come to an end and so has my social life. Things have been quite busy around here the past two weeks and its only getting worse from here on. But before i fill you all in on whats been going on, i thought I’d mention that my School is closed today, and probably so for the next few days.
Why? Well the school has been flooded. Yes, flooded. It was hard to grasp at first because to me that kind of stuff only happened in the films such as Donnie Darko. I had to sit and laugh for a while. Not something that happens every day is it?.
In the past week or so I have been busy searching for a new Hosting provider for our business Tamooka. Dreamhost didn’t seem very appealing anymore due to their overselling and downtime. So we decided to go with a smaller hosting provider who had better uptime and didn’t oversell their services. Recommended by a friend we decided to go with asmallorange.com. They seemed to have a nice helpful community and excellent uptime standards. So i purchased a package with them. However, i purchased the package thinking it was 10GB space as apposed to the correct 1GB space. (Yes, i need glasses). As soon as i realized this i basically freaked and called Colin, my business partner, who of course started laughing. After all this was going to affect our capability to resell some decent packages.
So our only options were to cancel the package, and resort to another provider or keep the package and cut our packages down to a mere 100mb, which by all means didn’t seem very appealing to me or Colin. So we decided to go with plan A. So far we have not yet switched to a new provider as we are awaiting the ASO package to be canceled. However, a new hosting company that has just recently launched has got very attractive offers and excellent value for money. So we are hoping to switch to that company, MintHost. So lets see how that goes. After all, we have four days left.
On another note, i have been working on a portfolio for my new website which i hope to release this summer. The front end design is complete and i hope to showcase all my web design, graphic design, photography and code their. The blog will only be a section of the site unlike now. And the front page will contain various content feeds. It is currently on hold and i will begin coding the backend after my exams are done in July. Whether or not i will build the whole site around wordpress is not yet clear. But I’m thinking of coding the backend in Ruby on Rails which could be fun.
All work and fun aside, i have My Irish and German oral exams beginning next week. And my Music practical exams beginning the week after! So I’m going to have to ween myself away from the computer and force myself to study and prepare for these exams. Which is quite impossible. I’ll keep you informed on how they go!
Happy sleeping,
Kevin.

I’ve just upgraded to Wordpress 2.5 and i have to say I am quite impressed. Its going to take a while to get used to but in the long run its definitely a big improvement from the recent versions. Its also gotten quite the face lift and is looking extremely fresh. Which puts it right back up there with top competing blogging software.
The design is probably the first thing that got me excited. I always like to see a site or blog getting a new design. Some new eye candy is always interesting. The Dashboard has been restructured a little and been made a lot more functional. Content is displayed in a very nice way on the main page which gives the user an excellent overview of statistics and content. Tabs have been re-organized and are very minimal yet specific.
The posting system itself is what i hoped to see major improvements in. And that has been accomplished in this release. One of the new features i specifically love, is the ‘Add Media’ to your posts. Which eliminates the use for some plugins that were previously needed to do this.

The comments section has been re-arranged in quite neat way too. The overview of comments is now far easier to manage and moderate. Basically everything has been made a lot easier to use. Which will save people a lot of time and hassle and hopefully attract a new range of users. Its grea to see such quality software come from a open source community based project
